Anyone passing through Dubai's glittering Terminal 2 has numerous choices for food and drink. I've certainly not tried all of them, but I can vouch for the The Irish Village, a sort of faux Irish pub located at about the middle of the enormous building on the same floor as the equally vast duty-free shop. I still haven't actually had a full meal there, but if it's anything like the superb apple pie they serve, it's got to be good!
Presentation itself is elevated to an art form here in what would, ordinarily, be rather humdrum surroundings at most airports. Prices, by the way, are rather more reasonable than one might otherwise expect. The pie is about $2.50, which is not bad. In addition, there are several juice/snack bars sprinkled around the building.

I really enjoy a little Arab/Lebanese booth in the Food Court at the Dubai International Airport, UAE. They have great hummus with meat - quite cheap and a nice amount of food.
