hong kong: HONG KONG, HKG |
This airport offers a lot of choices. If your flight is transoceanic, try the hot wanton soup, which is a great choice for a long journey and very tasty last souvenir. I don’t remember the exact name of the place but it is at a upper level within the main terminal. Roger, 18 Oct 2002 If you love Cantonese food, you shouldn't worry about finding something to eat at the HongKong International Airport. A variety of dimsum dishes like wanton noodle soup, siopao, roast peking duck are available in a wide array of fast-food stalls all priced comparable to the fast food areas in the city malls. Must try: soya milk. Get your must-have dimsum meal at Maxim's, the institutional HongKong Restaurant for quality and yummy dimsum. It has a full-service branch inside the airport so you can go there right after you go through immigration For food to bring home, get your mooncake and Chinese pastries at Wing Wah. All sealed air tight and with some packed in tin cans. Their stall is along the many Duty Free Shops, near the Electronics Store sent by Sheryll Ang, 30 July 2002 |
