The "Borjhar" airport is the biggest airport in these parts of the country. I'd not been there for more than a decade now so I'm writing from memory. There's this restaurant (no prizes: Ashok group managed) on the first floor where I had a buffet lunch when the Indian Airlines flight to Imphal was delayed by more than two hours. I have a feeling that this restaurant also caters the inflight meals as the kind of meal and the way it was served pretty made you feel like you're in the middle of the flight "enjoying" your inflight meal. The food was pretty much ok (rating: 5); it caters to the indian palate so some foreigners may find it a tad too spicey! sent by Umesh Tongbra, 14 September 2002 |
