india: PUNE, PNQ |
Pune, India (PNQ)... small Indian domestic airport
with about a dozen flights a day, nothing much other than the usual tea
/ coffee / snack bar routine, though there is a fairly decent restaurant
on the first floor, serves a decent tandoori combo plate with awful sandwiches...
with a sporadic bar. The high point at this aiport is that all the shops,
including the newsagent and the small snack stall stock Pune famous pure
veggie eats like Kayani Shrewsbury butter cookies, "chiwdaa mixture"
and "bhakarwadis"... at prices just about 20% more than High
Street so that's fair. sent by Veeresh, 27 September 2002 |
