| At the top of the stairs before you go into the terminals is the Cafe
Spagna where family and friends gather to say good byes before
departing on their flights. Although the airport is dark and a bit dirty,
the Cafe is bright and refreshing. The food is rather good ranging from
pizza (of course) to sandwiches to just snacks and so forth. And what cafe in Italy would be complete without gelato! The one down side to this cafe is the service. We waited 10 minutes for someone to come and serve us for gelato. Otherwise it is a great place to eat and watch the planes take off and land. sent by Airport Critic, 10 September 2002 |
