The operators of the Korea International Airport were sensitive enough to have a separate Eastern and Western Section for hungry travelers. The Eastern section hosts Japanese and Korean cuisine through a fast-food setting. Looks, smells and probably tastes yummy given the Asian competency. The Western section offers 'gourmet' sandwiches. Gourmet = overpriced & served on porcelain plates with veggie decoration. They serve hotdogs on a bun, salmon sandwiches, German sausages, etc. Unfortunately, they look as appetizing as hospital food and are very overpriced. Although the US$ prices are not displayed on the menu, their cash registers accept both Korean Won and US$. sent by Sheryl Ang, 30 July 2002 |
