Not a very good choice in general - drinks are nearly all just Coca Cola company brands (Coke, Sprite, Oasis, Buxton water, etc), sandwiches are "Taste!". WHSmith and Boots don't sell their own range of food or drink, and it's all rather pricey. There is a rather out-of-place seafood bar, though - anyone for smoked salmon or caviar? Also, there's a motorway service station style café, which serves overpriced hot food. The cooked breakfast was quite tasty - although it also cost me double what it would be in a greasy spoon. I'd suggest waiting till you were on the plane, but since many airlines out of this terminal are budget airlines, there's no food available on them either. So just bring your own food if you know you've got a big wait in store. sent by Martin, 7 September 2002 |
