Comments:	Again the Alisnack box! To tell the truth the sandwich was not too bad, and if you consider that Lufthansa is offering only drinks and biscuits on this same sector, this means that Alitalia is still "spoiling" passengers in economy. But I'm tired of average quality sandwiches on my flights!

Comments:	This is the "international" version of the recently unveiled "all in one Alisnack box" concept now adopted by Alitalia and Alitalia Express on domestic and short international flights in order to reduce food, meal, catering costs, and replaces the previous "infamous" plastic box. As you will see it has the same design as the Alisnack domestic box, albeit in a bigger format. In this case the sandwich was a rather bland roll filled with cream cheese, roast turkey and rocket salad, while the cake was a not too bad pre-packaged sponge-style pastry. As per the drink service it is now down to "water or coffee" only! Definitely gone are wines and soft drinks... the run downhill continues! Not much to complain though on such a short sector, and the pretty flight attendant was extremely courteous as it often happens on AZ Express.

Comments:	"The mini sandwich was extremely dry and practically unedible, while the filled croissant was a better idea than the usual boring cheese and ham sandwich nowadays the norm on most European flights. Until 3 years ago on this same flight you would have got a full size tray cold lunch, served on chinaware, including assorted cold cuts, shrimps salad and cream pastries. Two years ago the service was reduced to a half size tray and nowadays the economic climate and airline cost cuts have brought food, meal, catering service to this level. Not much to complain on a 50 minutes flight, though, as flight attendants on AZ Express are always very much friendly and the airline is quite often bang on time."
