I select the Kyo-Kaiseki meal on this segment, which is quite wonderful. Soup is not served due to turbulence!
The japanese dessert is just amazing - fruits with jelly in a mandarin orange cup. Presentation is excellent and the fruits are fresh, and jelly goes well with it! You can taste the fragrant of the orange! |

Typical high standard meal served by Singapore Airlines!
The satays are chicken and lamb today. The salmon appetizer is wonderful, as well as the lobster bisque. The beef fillet is nicely cooked.
Of course, a glass of JW Blue Label Whiskey to end the meal! |

On ex-Japan flight, we got celebrity chef, Yoshihiro Murata, designing the menu. The food was interesting and the quality and quantity are both very high. Presentation also gets high mark. The dessert was the surprise, and Sakura ice cream was not a daily or usual dessert. The pumpkin cake went well with it. |

A wonderful meal was served prior to arrival. The Japanese meal is gorgeous, and the Japanese dessert today is a fruit plate. I am able to get a serving of the Western dessert today. I like the mousse because it has a bit of crunch to it. |

The Japanese F/A immediately brought around the snack basket,
which includes Lay Chips, kit kats, sweet buns, bananas, apples, and wet
napkins, but I decide to go for the new snack menu. The Fish Ball Noodle
soup sounds good, and not disappointing. It has minced pork on top with
garlic chips, as well as the condiments of chili soy sauce, as well as
green onions. Delicious noodle! Then I worked for the rest of the flight.
I definitely gave high marks to the introduction of “real”
snack items/noodle soups on SQ long haul flights.
The light meal service began, and the F/As mistakenly gave me the Western
appetizer, which I did not mind at all (Honestly, I thought the Japanese
meal was one course, so they gave everyone the Western appetizers). Anyway,
the F/A apologized and then brought out my Japanese meal. It was delicious
and the beef sukiyaki was good, and not overly salty. For dessert, fruit
plate was offered. |

For appetizer, I had the lobster, which was really nice.
For soup, I have the cream soup, which is delicious.
Salad is fresh... not too large portion, but just right. I had the vinaigrette
too.
I used the Book the Cook Lobster Thermidor entree.
Four kinds of cheese, but I chose the Brie & St. Mature, and the sides
include crackers, nuts, and grapes.
For dessert, it is a beautiful dessert platter, as you can see from the
picture. It tastes very good too. |
