Meal type: Mushroom and Bacon Pie with Peas and Carrots
Comments: By far my favourite crew-meal! This pie is absolutely
fantastic and I could easily gobble my way through a hundred in a
flight! Great pastry, plenty of filling and just the right amount of
veg to complement but not overpower the wonder of this outstanding pie!

Meal type: Long-range Nibbles (Cheesey Chicken Balls and Pakora)
Comments: Provided for the crew on long-range flights (out of Gatwick
that's DFW and IAH), these snacks are the highlight of any long flight!
Never had the pakora but the cheesey chicken balls are great!

Meal type: Baked potato with chilli and cheese
Comments: Someone left the potato in a little too long. Couldn't eat it
as it was burned to a crisp - and the cheese had melted away to nothing.
Still, having had baked potato for a crew-meal in the past, I am sure
it tasted good in it's former life. Rating based on appearance.

Meal type: Four Cheese Pizza - Simple!!
Comments: Along with a pie we sometimes get, the pizza
is my favourite crew meal!! The dough is always nice and soft and the
fillings are deep and plentiful.

Meal type: Grilled Escolar with rice, carrott and courgette.
Comments: Never heard of the fish Escolar before, so
was keen to try it. Turned out to be really very nice indeed! The rice
was lovely, if not a little gooey (meant to be that way?) and the veg
was very well cooked. There was a sauce with this dish, but not totally
sure what kind.

Meal type: Bangers 'n' Mash with peas and onion gravy!!
Comments: Britain's favourite dish on the world's favourite
airline!
Sausages, mmmm. Mashed potato, mmmm. Onion gravy, mmmm. Just the right
amount of everything in this meal to make it one of the nicest crew meals
I've had in a long time. The gravy was particularly nice. Peas were a
little dry though (not that I ate 'em!).

Beef steak with potato slices, spinach and steamed
vegetables, covered in onion gravy.
Comments: Fantastic bit of meat; juicy and tender
and cooked to perfection! Nice char-grilled flavour but not too overpowering.
Potato slices made a nice change from the usual roast-potatoes and the
onion
gravy really complemented the whole dish. The vegetables were a little
"mushy" but the spinach was fab!

Chicken korma with rice, topped with fried onions.
Comments: Really bland. British Airways know how
to do a good Korma, but this fell well short of the usual standards. There
was a lack of chicken, the rice was dry and there was very little taste
to the dish. Pity.

Still not 100% sure what this was, but I think it was a sort of potato,
onion and cheese patty. Plenty of spices, lots of melted cheese mixed
through and served with mushrooms, cabbage and a spicy cabbage puree.
Comments: Didn't eat the cabbage or sauce but the potato
patties were
fabulous and the mushrooms were up to the usual high standard you always
find on a British Airways crew meal! Super!
