Airport: London Heathrow T4 (LHR), 7 Aug 2004
Business or leisure trip: Leisure
Contents of the meal:
Full selection of cold breakfast items including cereals, breads,
croissants, danish pastries, fresh fruit, also limited hot menu, eg warm
bacon baguettes available
Drink: Full self service bar, including premium Champagne
Comments: Wine selections are just superb. Seem to be improving - check out
that Lynch-Bages Pauillac. Shame it was 5:30am. Still, managed some '96
Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque as well as a '88 Marsault for a nutritious start
to the day. Could have a more substantial warm food selection, but still
very few airline lounges offer better food (only Emirates FC in Dubai in my
experience).

Business or leisure trip: Leisure
Meal type: Lunch
Sandwiches with many different fillings, Walkers cake bars (various flavours), cheese & biscuits, yohgurts, various nuts, crisps & biscuits.
Drink: To much to list but pretty much what ever you wanted, very good wine selection (sadly no champagne) beer selection very good 4/5 choices and the spirits were virtually all there, also a fantastic juice bar with loads of choice.
Comments: British Airways have redeemed themselves, I have had some pretty awful flights with BA in the past (mainly long haul) but my faith has been restored, from start to finish they were exceptional. The lounge was clean and restocked at regular intervals, great choice of food and drink and the spa area is well worth a visit, all in all well done BA.

Small cold snacks including biscuits, nuts, crisps, cakes. Breakfast Cereal, croissants, breakfast pastries. Fruit, yoghurt. Limited hot menu with warm filled bagettes available on request.
Drink: Champagne and wine was served at a full service bar (I had Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque 1996, but there were two other Champagnes available).
Comments: Bacon bagettes were yummy. Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque awesome. Yum yum. Food menu could have been more extensive, and except for the Champagne, wine selection could have been of better quality.
