Flying from: Toronto YYZ to Tampa, 2 February 2003
Flight duration: 2:50
Aircraft type & class: B767 - Business Class
Meal type: In official airline terms this meal is a "Snack" but it was
served at what I could consider traditional lunch time - Cold beef "salad",
potato salad, tossed green salad, asparagus, cheese and crackers,
chocolate truffles
Drink: Vineland Estates Reisling
Comments: "Reasonably nice for a "snack" but not as successful as
some of the other possible snacks (Air Canada pictures 045 and 050)."

Flying from: Ottawa to Winnipeg, 24 December 2002
class: Economy
Meal type: Breakfast - Scrambled eggs and cheese wrapped in spinach pita
Drink: Water
Comments: "I guess a two and a half hour flight on Air Canada doesn't warrant a decent meal. Overprocessed and greasy which left an unsettling feeling for hours afterwards."
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 2

Flying from Toronto to Vancouver AC137, 21 December 2002
Class: Economy
Meal type: "Dinner - Sliced roast beef with green beans, carrots and scalloped potatoes, salad and chocolate mousse layer cake. The salad was weary and limp consisting of only iceberg lettuce and a few strands of cucumber. Boiled vegetables are self-explanatory. The beef was cardboardy but had ok flavour and sufficient gravy sauce. The scalloped potatoes had decent flavour."
Rating 1-10: 5

Flying from: MCO to YYZ, 9 January 2003
Aircraft type & class: Airbus 320, Economy
Meal type: Breakfast - English Muffin with Egg, Cheese and Back bacon, Yoghurt and Apple
Drink: Coffee and Orange Juice
Comments: "The egg in the sandwich was not a pleasing texture but overall not bad, much better to get a proper meal rather than the "Snack" AC usually "serves.
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 6

Flying from: YYZ to MCO, 5 January 2003
Aircraft type & class: A320, Economy
Meal type: Snack - What to call this? Some bready dough folded over a mystery filling. Still not clear what the filling was (may have had ham in it)
Drink: Vodka and Tonic
Comments: "Still dislike the fact that AC serves these awful snacks on flights that should by time and duration offer a proper meal but at least this is better than the veggie wrap."
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 4

Meal type: Airline calls it a Snack but is served at dinner time - Cajun spiced chicken strips (cold) corn salad, guacamole, cheese and crackers
Drink: Vineland Estates Riesling

Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 8

Flying from: Sydney to Honolulu, 16 December 2002
Aircraft type & class: 747-400, Economy
Meal type: Snack/Dinner - fettuccini alfredo, fruit bowl, roll, miniature candy bar.
Drink: white wine
Comments: "This meal was advertised as a snack, but it was almost the same size as the lunch we received earlier. It should probably be classified as
dinner. The sauce on the pasta was bland and tasted like nothing."
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 2 (only because the fruit was fresh, and the mini candy bar was a Toblerone)

Meal type: Lunch - Chicken curry on fetuccini, vegetables, salad, roll, cheese, and cake with light fruit topping.
Drink: Molson Dry
Comments: "In addition to the dish being very tasty, I particuarly enjoyed the interesting colors and shapes of the dishes. It was refreshing to have
something more than iceberg in the salad, too. The cake was also excellent, but I was not sure what exactly it was. It looked like chocolate, but it was
not -- it was definitely some sort of fruit-based cake."
