Meal type: Dinner
Contents of the meal: Orzo salad with saffron and seafood, provencale-style sauté of beef with olives and tri-color pasta, cheese, yogurt, pear chocolate marble cake.
Drink: Red wine "Vin de pays d'Oc Merlot 2004"
Comments: The food was mediocre. The orzo salad as a starter was the best part, the beef was tough. The flight attendant kept on offering additional rolls for the hungrier passengers. The whole meal was served with a friendly smile which made up for the lack of quality!

Meal type: Breakfast
Contents of the meal: Dry minisandwich with ham and cheese, Dry slice of bread, some jam, and yougurt
Drink: Orange juice and Coffe
Comments: Seat was ok, plane was new, coffe was ok, that is the positive. No hot breakfast, tasteless and dry bread, way to little food for a breakfast, no refill, no other drinks offered. Shame on Air France. I got better breakfast on a $50 M ticket on a 40 min domestic SAS flight in Norway two years ago. I would never pay anything extra to fly AF Biz intra europeean!

Flight duration: 12h45
Aircraft type & class: 777, J (espace affaires)
Business or leisure trip: leisure
Meal type: "supper" (different from normal dinner which offers 3 main course choices)
Contents of the meal: appetizer choice of duck foie gras, walnut bread, candied orange peel OR fillets of red mullet and green lentil salad // main course choices of pean-seared filet of beef, buttered French green beans, and anna potatoes OR fillet of pike-perch with light anchovy sauce and parmesan mashed potatoes. cheese selection on an individual plate included camembert, cabecou, and meunster. dessert choices were between a plum tart and sorbets with cookies.
Drink: still water, Badoit // various wines and alcohols
Comments: I chose the foie gras and the fish ... both of which were very good. I skipped the cheese service and waited for the plum tart, which was also good. Air France service is always at its best, efficient and sincere, even for a long flight like this one. I didn't fly to Buenos Aires via Paris from the United States for nothing!

Ticket price: $490
Aircraft type & class: Economy class
Business or leisure trip: Leisure
Meal type: kosher (pre-ordered) snack
Contents of the meal: pita filled with egg salad, cold vegetables,
croissant, jam
Comments: The amount of food seemed small, in spite of my small
appetite, and I was still hungry when I finished eating. The pita was
somewhat soggy and the egg salad was watery and lifeless, with a
strange texture. The included vegetables would have been much better
if they were not so limp and soft. On the up side, I did enjoy the
croissant and jam.

Meal type: kosher (pre-ordered) lunch
Contents of the meal: beef stew with penne pasta, vinagery cold salad
(noodles? shredded vegetables?) with curry, nuts, and raisins in it,
roll, pastry filled with cinnamon and nuts
Comments: I don't have a huge appetite, but I felt that the amount of
food was somewhat small, and I was not full when I finished eating.
The beef was ok but much too salty - eating it with the bread helped
somewhat. The cold salad was a little strange but tasted pretty good,
and I enjoyed the dessert.

Aircraft type & class: Economy class
Business or leisure trip: Leisure
Meal type: kosher (pre-ordered) breakfast
Contents of the meal: canned fruit, sweet raisin/nut pastry, apple
muffin, apricot jam, orange juice
Comments: There was more than enough food, though I thought that a sweet muffin, a sweet pastry, and sweet apricot jam was a bit
excessive. But everything tasted pretty good, had the right amount of
moisture, and a good texture. The orange juice was a bit slushy but
it was a lot better than the frozen solid juice that many kosher meals
come from.

Meal type: kosher (pre-ordered) dinner
Contents of the meal: Beef chunks with bowtie noodles and green beans;
bread with smoked salmon, roll, raspberry cream dessert
Comments: The beef tasted pretty good but was a little too fatty. The
food was fairly salty. The noodles had a nice buttery taste and went
well with the beef, aside from the excessive salt. The dessert had a
nice flavor and texture, and looked better than what the non-kosher
people around me were eating. The salmon and bread were pretty
standard. I found the meal quite filling. Shockingly, the cup of
water was fully defrosted - this happens in roughly one in every 6
flights with kosher meals.

Lunch: Tropical Seafood with Papaya
Roast breast of duck with passion fruit sauce

Cheese
Sherbets with cookies
Drink: Red Burgundy Beaune 2000 Maison Labouré-Roi
Comment: Excellent meal. The only trouble was that I
was full when the dessert arrived (I finished all
cheeses!), so I could not enjoy the chocolate cake or
the strawberry tart that were also offered.
Only (small!) complaint: the baguette bread was not
crispy, but soft. AF does not know how to heat bread
in flight.

Aircraft type & class : A320-200 & Tempo (economy)
Business or leisure trip : leisure
Meal type : snack'n drink
Contents of the meal : crackers with sesams
Drink : coke cola (15 cl ONLY!!!)
Comments : crackers were very salted, and we were only offered one 15 cl coke cola can. We thought flight attendants will come back to propose something esle to drink, but they won't. It's a shame for an airline such as Air France, all the more so as one month ago we fly to Naples with Easy Jet and we were only charged 70 € for the round trip per person and we paid only 20 € for food, meal, catering. Results : for a longer flight with Easy Jet we were charged much less (90 € meals included) than France.
Rating 1 - 10 (worst - best) : 1 enven fligth attendants were friendly, but they were as friendly as Easy Jet flight attendants.
