Route: Oakland - Honolulu, 10 Jan 2006
Ticket price: n/a
Flight duration: 5h 00m
Class: economy
Aircraft: 737-700
Meal: Lunch - Cheeseburger, Fritos, Oassion Fruite Cookie
Drink: Guava Juice
Comments: The cheeseburger was horrible, I didnt even open the weird packaging that dosent melt in the oven. I havent eaten Fritos for years and I always thought they were the worst option in the Lays multipacks. The cookie however was excellent. It was shortbread with a passionfruit jelly type stuff on top. I had half of my girlfriends and was hoping that our neighbor would give me his. In any case, this meal overall was lame. That is the only word that can describe it. I was kinda hoping that they would give us something better than this but whatevs. The crew was all young and nice and we brought Cup-O-Noodles cause I figured this meal would be no better than it was. Hawaii was awesome though!

Route: Kona,Hawaii - Oakland,Ca , 28 Jul 2005
Ticket price: $380-round trip-Internet Special
Flight duration: 1h 00m
Class: economy
Aircraft: Boeing 737
Meal: snack - Potato chips, Ham and Cheese, One Squeeze Packet of Mayo and napkin.
I was able to use some foil and place the sandwich on the coffee heating plate to heat it up.
Drink: Coke
Comments: Last year I flew with Aloha to Maui, round trip. Outbound leg, we wer served a hot meal, the usual "chicken or beef"? We also received a compimentry FREE Mai-Tai!
On the return leg 3 days later, just a snack like the one offered to and from Kona. Also the headseats given out are now are $5.
I don't mind the frugal meals due now to the high cost of fuel. I wouuld rather have them cut back on that rather than raise tha airfare alot. I'm an Aloha Pass member and am planning at trip in Sept or Oct. Next time I plan to bring something with me to accompany the snack offered.
