Aircraft type & class: Boeing 767-323ER N391AA, coach
class
Business or leisure trip: Leisure
Meal type: Snack
Contents of the meal: Cheese pizza with grapes & cookie.
Drink: diet coke
Comments: Slightly surprising snack...it was actually
tasty & filling! It was served hot, and tasted very good. This is
what snacks should be on other airlines. Ironically, AA serves its dinner
& lunch portions on same-sized trays as it served this snack.
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 9 for a snack...better than
the actual lunch AA served on this flight.

Flight AA48
Ticket price: $565.50
Flight duration: 8hrs 43min
Aircraft type & class: Boeing 767-323ER N391AA, coach
class
Business or leisure trip: Leisure
Meal type: Lunch
Contents of the meal: Salad, Chicken with potatoes and vegetables, "cheesecake"
Drink: diet coke
Comments: Sadly this meal is no april fool's joke. Very
small portion- few slices of chicken under the potatoes & 2 pieces
of dried out bread (or w/e it is). Again, this meal was comparable to
frozen meals, except that they are usually sold in bigger portions. The
desert was pretty tasty..although a poor excuse for a cheesecake... it
was more like gel.
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 1... at least they served
a meal... the flight attendant warned us though, that we were going to
be starving upon landing to Dallas.

Flight duration: 8hrs 43min
Aircraft type & class: Boeing 767-323ER N391AA, coach

Business or leisure trip: Leisure
Meal type: Dinner
Contents of the meal: "Caesar salad, Mashed Potatoes & beef with
mushroom gravy, brownie for desert"
Drink: Diet Coke
Comments: The size of this meal is ridiculously small
for a dinner. This felt more like a hot snack..Thankfully I had eaten
at chili's before boarding this flight. The was comparable to frozen dinner
entrees at the local supermarket. The salad dressing made the salad very
bitter. The main entrée was very bland & tasteless. Brownie
was too dry.
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 1..Size of this dinner was
a disgusting joke for people who hadn't eaten before boarding this flight.
