Drink: same wine list as
HKG-LHR flight. I had the St. Estephe which was very good. My wife had orange
juice.
Comments: The terrine was fine. Nothing too great. The salad
was fresh with a nice dressing. The chicken dish was tasty, but the rice, being
reheated, was hard towards the edge of the plate. The star dish was the lamb.
It was very tender and moist and the sauce was superb. The vegetables were done
just right and the mash potato was as tasty as any 5 star restaurant. The cheesecake
was good too. Not too rich/heavy.
Ratings: 7 for the chicken dish, 9 for the lamb and, again,
10 for the service.

Comments: The first few courses were standard items, very good.
The French toast, I thought, was very adventurous for airline breakfast. However,
they did a good job and it was neither greasy nor dried-out. The omelette was
a bit tasteless. But the potatoes were delicious. We had hot chocolate and tea,
both served like home, ie in a mug.
Ratings: The French toast 8 for good execution, the omelette
7, mainly for not being dried-out. The service, again, is 10!

Comments: Fantastic meal! The fish was juicy and fresh. The
sauce was not over-powering. The service, as always, was superb.
