Comments: Best meal ever! The canapés and appetizer were nothing short of superb, very fresh lobster. Main course I thought would be warm, it was cold but very good nonetheless (I love salmon). The dessert was a rather interesting interpretation of the concept of crème brûlée, so it was not what I expected but it toowas pretty nice all the same. Drinks all excellent, champagne could be had at all times. It felt very good, just sitting there sipping champagne, cruising at Mach 2 with the world 57000 feet below us! I was a bit disappointed with the plastic cutlery, but it's the only flaw in an otherwise very special meal; the flight attendants also worked really hard and their service was impeccable. Food was also available in the Concorde Lounge at Heathrow, I had some very nice sandwiches but I forgot to take a pic of them. All in all a superb experience which will be hard to top.
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 10 for the canapés and appetizer, 9 for the main course, 7 for the dessert. But overall a 10+, for the excellent service and just the thrill of flying at Mach 2!

Comment: Concorde was an incredible experience. If you can do this only one way- fly from Heathrow to New York. The take off is unbelievable and is followed by what appears to be a high speed hand brake turn! On the ground, BA appears to have down graded the service level: there was a long line for check in at JFK and the poor Americans had to queue up as Fast Track (Arrivals) was not provided! The service in the air was par excellence and that too with a full load! The Asian Vegetarian meal was poor. Despite being ordered in advance and reconfirmed, the cooked food as below par and any Indian restaurant- even the flocked wall paper ones- would have done much better. There again who flies Concorde for the food?

Comments: A first class breakfast was to be had before even boarding the aircraft in the Concorde lounge at JFK. The food on board was equally excellent. Concorde is such an extraordinary plane, it seems miraculous that hot food can be served at all. The only other way to travel at Mach 2 is via military jet or space shuttle, where G suits have to be worn and food comes out of tubes. It is so sad that Concorde is to be withdrawn from service and we will all have to regress to subsonic 'busses'. If you haven't been supersonic yet, sell your babies, mortgage the dog, spend your airmiles, do anything to be one of the last of the Supersonic generation. BA's last flights are in October 03, Air France has already stopped (and their meals looked even better plus they used metal cutlery).
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): everything is 10 at 1390 miles per hour

Flight duration: 3 hrs 20 min
Aircraft type & class: Concorde
Meal type: brunch - Pour patienter - Papaya garnished with red berries (& blackberries, kiwi? & lime)
Drink: the wine list is on the Air France web site
Comments: The flight was only 3 hrs and 20 min and the food service was excellent. Remember that we just had a buffet at the ariport lounge. My wife had the seafood platter and I the gourmet platter. The other two selections were 1) Chef's special with scrambled eggs, creamed morel mushroom fircassee and Maine lobster and 2) vegetarian hotpot - a mix of vegetables, truffles, sauteed wild mushrooms, fennel and truffle sauce with balsamic vinegar. The service was very attentive and professional. Attendants were thoroughly familiar with the wine and cheese selections. Mixing the caviar with cream and a drop of lemon juice makes a difference in the taste.
Rating: (1-10 worst to best) me 8, as I don't like cheese plates or caviar, my wife 10, as she loved everything
