Ticket price: $190
Flight duration: 5 hrs 7 mins
Aircraft type & class: 737-800, First Class (Platinum upgrade)
Business or leisure trip: Leisure
Meal type: Dinner, Veal Chop main entree, lobster appetizer
Drink: Sprite
Comments: This must have been one of the best meals I have ever had on a domestic airline. The veal chop was very flavorful and tender, not to mention the huge portion. The lobster was delicious especially after dipping it in the Du Berry sauce. The dinner started with servings of warm cashew nuts, followed by salad, appetizer, main entree and finished with two generous scoops of vanilla icecream with caramel topping. The whole dinner reminded me of dining out at an expensive restaurant.

Aircraft type & class: B737-700, Economy. N15712.
Business or leisure trip: Leisure
Meal type: Snack
Contents of the meal: Used to be a sandwich inside this paper. But I ate it ;o)
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 4. The service was crap, so was the food. I'll stick to European airliners :-) You don't even get hot food on a 4 hours early evening flight.

Flight duration: 3 hours
Aircraft type & class: B737-800, First
Meal type: Breakfast
Large fruit plate, an omellet and choice of bread. Other choice was cereal with fruit plate and bread.

Comments: The fruit plate was large and very fresh. The omelette was average, while the potatoes, sausage, and bacon were pretty tasteless. Hot biscuit was very good.

Ticket price: $350 (B fare)
Flight duration: 2h 35m
Aircraft type & class: Boeing 737-524, Coach Class (missed elite upgrade)
Business or leisure trip: Leisure
Meal type: Lunch/Dinner Snack
Contents of the meal: Oreo cookies, Fritos corn chips, ham sandwich
Drink: Sprite
Comments: Obviously Continental is back to name-brand items for their Coach snacks, but the portions are tiny. Their saving grace is the fact that nobody else in this market, or most others, for that matter, offers complimentary food in Coach for most flights under 4 hours or so. Can't really go wrong with the food itself, it was enough to hold me over since the flight got into EWR at 10pm.

Route: Newark to Atlanta, 17 Apr 2004
Flight Duration: 2 hours approx
Meal Type: Lunch
It was lunch time and even though I was not expecting anything on a domestic US sector I was surprised with this. A very small turkey sandwich , with a small pack of potato chips and chocolate bar.
Coffee or tea and softdrinks were available.
Rating: Lunch: Knowing that nothing beyond pretzel is being offered these days even on longer domestic flights I will give them 7 (Just to encourage other US airlines to have some food available)

Contents of the meal: We started the meal with a coca - cola and "Blue Diamond" smoked almonds, which are oh so good. The meal was continued with a salad consisting of fresh greens, cucumber, tomato, and bag of carrots and ranch dressing. The entree was a cheese burger on a sesame seed bun, which was actually really tasty! For dessert it was a "Twix and Cookies" candy bar.
Comments: The meal was very nice, and the service was excellent!! The only complaint I have, is that we did not receive a chocolate chip cookie, that is one of my favorite parts of the meal. Part over all this is one of the best airline meals I have ever had.

Comments: This was perhaps the most perfect "snack" I've ever been served on a domestic carrier. It was fresh, beautifully presented, and the flavors were well balanced. Following the snack, we were offered additional libations and candy by Roxanna Hott, one of the best FAs I've flown with in a long time.
