Micah J. Child
Route: Houston TX, IAH - Pittsburgh PA, PIT, 18 Dec 2003
Ticket price: $272, total (Roundtrip, multiple city trip, 4 cities)
Flight Duration: 3hr
Aircraft type & class: Embraer ERJ-145, Single Class
Business or leisure trip: Leisure
Meal: Snack
Turkey sandwich, Ruffles, Snack/Candy bar. Drink: Ginger ale
Comments: I was pleasantly surprised in getting the sandwich, I wasn't really expecting anything more than a drink and nuts, Especially on such a small airplane. The sandwich had turkey, lettuce and tomato, with mustard and mayo packets to add if you wished. Tasted nice and fresh. I forget what kind of candy or cookie bar the red packet was, didn't realize my old camera was in such bad condition. Other than a Cessna, this is the smallest type of airplane I have ever flown in. I almost had to elephant walk sideways to get down the aisle. I'm 6'5" and the cabin was only 6' at the most. Only one stewardess on the plane, but she was friendly and attentive.
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 8
Camera brand & type: old Kodak 35mm point and shoot, donating it to my nephews toy bin

Comments: The sandwich is slightly larger than what CO is used to serving. Great service by the flight attendant overall.

Flying from: Tucson (TUS) to Houston-Intercontinental (IAH),
18 May 2003
Ticket price: $420 B fare
Flight duration: 1h 58m
Aircraft type & class: Embraer ERJ-145XR
Meal: Snack - Lay's potato chips, Jacob's Cream Crackers,
BreadEssentials Garlic cream cheese spread, Sparrer sliced salami, and
Pecan Delight.
Drink: Slow drink service, but had all the usual options
Comments: Once again, I appreciated the food on a route where nobody
else is offering anything. However, the only things I ate were the chips,
the crackers, and the Pecan Delight. I do like the new ERJ-145XR though.
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 6. Couldn't they at least offer a sandwich?

Flying from: Memphis to Cleveland, 30 July 2001
Class: Economy
Meal: Snack - Fritos, Turkey Sandwich with a piece of lettuce and a pack of Mayonnaise along with a small choclate bar.
Comments: Considering the partner airline (NW) doesn't serve anything on their Memphis flight, even in first class, this was quite suprising. The other offering was a ham sandwich. With 37 meals and about 10 people on the plane, everyone got two if they wanted it.
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 6 - unexpected for a <90 minute flight.
