Drink: Lanson Black Label Brut Champagne, Courvoisier VSOP Cognac, Dow's Late Bottled Port
Comments: An exceptional spread with attentive yet leisurely service from the crew. Every little need was anticipated and my champagne glass was kept topped up without ever having to ask. Warm bread was offered from a basket whenever my roll came near its end.

The tricolore torte was a little unusual but complimented the waldorf salad nicely. The main course was quite excellent. I am not usually a fan of fusion dishes but this one sounded interesting and I was pleasantly impressed. Desserts were phenomenal. The charming flight attendant insisted that I try both of them and I did not regret it. The cheese course was just gluttony but by the end of the meal I was culinarily satisfied like I have rarely been on an aircraft.

This airline is truly a hidden gem in Africa and I only wish their food, meal, catering department could teach other airlines something about standards.
