Comments: WOW! And we all thought the days of Canadian Airlines, Wardair and the "golden days" of flying were over. Well my follow travelers those are back with Harmony Airways' HarmonyOne business class service. First of all i'd like to say that hands down the food is amazing. I've tried F and J Class in Asia, Europe, on long-haul and regional routes, HarmonyOne's food quality is a standard to which every carrier in North America should strive for. I flew with Air Canada in J class a week before, YVR-YYZ return, and it paled in comparison.

Alright on to the food review! Upon boarding the crew offered a pre-boarding drink along with a tasty nut mix. The crew came around and personally took orders and presented us with a "real" printed menu. The appetizer was beautifully presented, in fact all courses were well presented. Again, what makes this meal service unique is that it' not your standard J class fare that actually on most airlines like AC is really just a bigger serving of Y class grub on a plate, HarmonyOne really is restaurant quality! This meal would pass up in a fine dining restaurant. I really liked the fact that real linen was used, even the napkin was embroidered with the HarmonyOne logo and the place mat was very unique, nice attention to detail! My main dish was the veal, perfectly cooked and the flavor with the sauce and scallop potatoes was sumptuous, I wanted seconds and thirds!!! My neighbour had the Braised Chinese Vegetables with Oyster Glaze, which he said was also excellent. During the meal service my wine glass waskept topped up and the crew stuffed us with warm bread and flat crisp bread. The dessert was to die for, I mean this dessert was on the same par as some of the deserts I’ve had in fine 5 star restaurants, quality was excellent. The only thing missing were salt and pepper shakers, however the crew promptly provided these. HarmonyOne was a winner here, hands down. The crew was young and energetic, yet unobtrusive and professional; I am not a fan of AC’s aging crew! I cannot speak enough about the quality of the meal, the presentation and the service. Wine selection was good, and being offered sparking wine is something that AC doesn’t provide in J class on its North American flights. I almost forget to mention the price, for $750 each way, it’s a steal! The breakfast photos from HarmonyOne are coming soon upon my return to Vancouver! Excellent job Harmony!

Comments: Again, great service from the Harmony Airways crew! Coming back from Hawaii they do an ice cream snack service with Mario Geltao, this a very high quality ice cream! 1Considering more and more airlines are cutting back in Y class food, meal, catering Harmony Airways is truly excelling in this area. I really liked how the appetizer is served individually, quality was high. I even asked for 3 servings of the potato salad. Both the chicken and ravioli were excellent. Chicken was moist and the pasta wasn’t hard, the sauce had lots of flavour. The whole meal service is really about service.. The crew was prompt to offer wine after they served the main dish. Great food and service all around.
