(KLM calls it a 747-300 because it has been converted with a stretched

Meal type: Snack - A cup of icecream
Comments: Served during a movie, it tasted just like
an icecream on the ground.

spinach sauce, some sort of breakfast pastry, yoghurt, fruit compote,

filling at all.

Meal type: Breakfast - Bircher Museli, Fruit Compote,
Bun, Muffin, Scrambled Eggs, Sausage, Bacon, Hash Brown, Cheery Tomato,
Soft Cheese
Drink: Orange Juice / Coffee
Comments: One of the best meals I've had on KLM. The
Bircher Museli was a very pleasant surprise in Y class, but when will
airlines start using grapes WITHOUT seeds in their fruit compotes!!!
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 8 (One mark off for the seeds)

Meal type: Dinner - Smoked Trout and Mixed Peppers Salad,
Stir Fried Chicken with Vegetables in Oriental Sauce, Black Forest Cake
with Coconut Shavings and Beery Coulis, Bread Roll.
Drink: Orange Juice and Coffee.
Comments: I was simply handed this meal, so I don't know
if there was a second choice that ran out of not before they got to me.
Nice, fresh, warm bun and grateful to be offered a second as they are
so small. Salad was ok, but seperate dressing is always nice which this
didn't have. Cake was lovely, but very cold! Room temperature would have
been nicer. Serving of main dish a little small for a dinner flight, but
not too bad.

Comments: A selection of sandwiches would have been better.

Meal type: Desert-Apple pie and a selection of Dutch

Drink: Columbian coffee.

was fresh and full flavoured. The apple pie was also nice, and considering
I hadn't eaten much during the early part of the meal, this made up for
it a little bit.

skin horseradish potato mash), accompanied with a mixed salad, breadroll/butter.
Drink: St. Supery, Atkinson House, Cabernet Sauvignon

Comments: Bland is all I can say. The hotchpotch was
a mess. This dish may sound exotic, but it lacked much idea in preparation.
KLM would do well to either spruce it up, or remove it from their menu.

Drink: King Estate Pinot Gris 2001
Comments: The dish could have had more flavour. It was
dry and lacked punch. The salad was fresh and balsamic vinegar was enough
for the size of the salad. The bread was warm and fresh as usual.
