Flying from: Munich to Chicago, 17 January 2003
Aircraft type & class: Airbus A300 Economy Class
Meal type: Dinner - Chicken, with noodles and gravy. The white stuff may have been either potatoes, turnips or cauliflower, I honestly couldn't tell which. There was also mixed vegetables, a dinner roll and some type of "strudel"
Drink: I stuck with water and coffee
Comments: "The chicken tasted much better than it looked, and the noodles weren't bad, but i had absolutely no idea what the white sliced stuff was...Whatever it was, it was covered with rasins and almonds. The vegetables were a bit on the mushy side, and I stopped after a spoonful. The roll would have made a better projectile than anything else, and I spent the next hour getting the inevitable crumbs out of my new sweater. The cake was sweet and overall pretty good. This wasn't a particularly horrible meal, but any high school cafeteria would put this meal to shame. Some traditional German food would have been nice..."

Meal type: Lunch/Dinner - Lunch- Veggi pasta, salad with feta cheese, roll and cheese cake / "dinner"- sandwich with turkey and cheese, orange and chocolate bar
Drink: Tea, Coke, Apple and Tomato Juice
Comments: Rather dissapointing meal. Lunch was small and the cream sauce was a bit too heavy for airline food in my oppinion. Salad was good but i really
start to hate all those cheesecakes that i got on my last 4 transatlantic flights!!! The second meal was called a "dinner" while it wasnt more than a bad breakfast. The sandwich was tasteless and i think food, meal, catering should be more careful with 300 oranges on a plane that need to be peeled... you could smell
it for 2 hours."
