Comments: A rich breakfast was offered before landing. There was a choice of three entrees: mushroom and cheese omelette, sweet pancakes, or Indian vegetarian. Alternatively, a "Last Minute Breakfast" consisting of coffee or tea, orange juice and croissants was available for those who prefered to sleep a bit longer. The little fellow in the red coat is a chocolate 'Weihnachtsmann' (Santa) who had been waiting for me on my armrest when I woke up.

Comments: The salad was boring and the pasta was bland. Cake was good though.

[199] cocktailservices with Macademia Nuts offered by very nice and attentive cabin crew
Drink: Champaigne and Water
[200-204] Salad with balsamico dressing and tandoori chicken with noodle salad. There was offered a wide variety of rolls and bread.I took 2 of the so called Laugenrolls.
Salad was a little bit to bitter for my taste but the tandoori chicken has been great. Also the rolls tasted wonderful.
Drink: Champaigne and Water
Entreé
Flightline Meal consisting of fish (I forgot the type, sorry...), rice and vegetables.
Amazing and also healthy meal.
Drink: A very good Chilean Whitewine (it was called the specialwine or vinothekwine ab monthly changing specialwine the flight attendant explained to me) .
Nice idea Lufthansa! The choice of wines consisted of 3 white wines and 2 red wines.
[205] Cheese Service.
I think it was Morbier, Camembert and some other cheese type offered again with warm fresh rolls, butter.
Additional the very friendly flight attendant offered me fruit salad which i could not withstand.
Very good!
Drink: Grahams Portwine....sweet but very! good.
[208-212] Desert Service.
a very good Desert was offered.
Also a pralineé and Tea or Coffee.
I prefered the Tea.
Than I also ordered a Baily's Irish Cream.
To bring the good dinner to a close the fa gave me farelli pralineés.
Great Dinner!
Unfortunately the battery of my cam broke down so i could not take pics of the breakfast. I will do that another time!

Comments: The roasted goose is Lufthansa's traditional menu for the
christmas season. It is heavy for an inflight meal but tasty. Very friendly service.

Main = Halibut in Fennel broth + vegetables

Drink: Bombay Sapphire & Tonic with packaged nuts to start.
Comments: The contents and quality of the meal were acceptable. Volume was good and I was satisfied after the meal. Lufthansa need to think again about serving a heavy chocolate brownie after such a substantial meal. Something lighter like a chocolate mousse (or even tiramisu) would have been better. THe current dessert choice on LH isn't that exciting.
