Drink: Sierra Mist on ice
Meal: (from the menu) "Todays lunch offering included
a choice of a roast beef, or turkey and swiss sandwich."
I chose the turkey and swiss. A small bag of Fritos, an apple, and a sealed
cup of water came with it. The bun was a little soggy on one of the edges,
however it beat pretzels and pop by leaps and bounds. Not extremely flavorful,
but also better than some things I've had in flight on other airlines.
Apple was edible along with the Fritos (duh pretty hard to screw up fritos)

Comments: Excellent service from the 2 FAs upstairs with

Japanese meals available, our awesome FA from AZ went downstairs and scrounged
up an extra meal. Great thanks to the two Arizona FAs.

Drink: water
Comments: This is what qualifies as a vegetarian snack??
Just in case you didn't get enough apple eating the apple itself, they
give you applesauce too. The FA handed out ice cream to the rest of the
passengers and wouldn't give us any since we ordered vegetarian meals.
!!! 15 minutes later she came back with some extras for us.

Drink: water, ginger ale, white wine
Comments: The rice & veggies were pretty good. I
love fennel salads so I really enjoyed that. Cheese and crackers were
great - usually vegetarians get the vegan meal which I don't like too
much. Dessert could have been more substantial than fruit but at least
you can't ruin fruit. The white wine was atrocious. Did not drink.

Contents of the meal: Dinner (vegetarian) - penne pasta in a creamy sauce

lettuce salad
Drink: water
Comments: the pasta (without the zucchini) was pretty
good! I was surprised. It was nice to not be served an entirely vegan
meal when ordering a vegetarian meal. The packaged roll was sad, as expected.
The brownie was low-fat and therefore low-taste. Iceberg lettuce - why
bother. Really, the main was decent enough to be much better than the
vast majority of airline vegetarian meals.

Drink: Orange Juice, Tea, Coffee, Apple Juice
Comments: Very ordinary in taste and presentation. No
warm rolls were served so I really couldn't figure out what the butter
was for....unless it is supposed to go with the muffin? I chose the fried

Comments: Back to the uninspiring Minneapolis meals.
NW adds an appetitiser (which was good because of the salmon and dollops
of presumably imitaton caviar) for longer haul flights. Same identical

good for NW but a litte bit too applely.

good. Cheese cake was as usual too sweet. Wine tasted like home-made -
too sweet and cloying. From one of the big California fermented grape

Some of the items, like Pepperidge Farms, are high-quality and not a cheap
