spaces for improvement in terms of the service.

Ticket price: $150
Flight duration: 3.5 hours
Aircraft type & class: Airbus A330-200 Economy
Business or leisure trip: Business
Meal type: Supper
Contents of the meal: Green salad with red wine vinaigrette, roll and
butter, chicken Balti with basmati rice, chocolate biscuit
Drink: water, white wine
Comments: Given that this was a red-eye special, crossing
3 time zones in 3 hours overnight, the crew thought they could quickly
feed us and tuck us up for the night. Food was hurriedly dished out. the
stewardess told me that the choice was Three-cheese pasta or chicken basil.
I asked for the chicken - it turned out that she couldn't read, as it
was chicken Balti - and pretty spicy too - NOT something you'd want to
ingest just before sleep. I had one mouthful and washed the taste away
with the wine.

Aircraft type & class: 737-300, Business
Business or leisure trip: Leisure
Meal type: Lunch
Antipasto starter
Salad of chicken with tomato, cucumber and coriander yoghurt dressing
Cheese
Drink: Water, Peppermint Tea
Comments: Antipasto starter with cold smoked salmon was
really quite good and plentiful, although I found the chicken salad main
to be rather a let down with the chicken being dry. I would have preferred
the bread to arrive with starter but we had to wait until the main. Cheese
included a camembert and cheddar. Very good sized portions for a three
hour flight. Peppermint tea option was welcome. Surprisingly good selection
of meal and drink options considering there were only eight BC seats on
the flight.

Smoked salmon bagette
Chocolate doughnut

Comments: Portions were small, bagette was hard, but
tasty all the same. Chocolate doughnut was sickly. Service was OK, but
it wasn't exactly going to be tough on such a short flight.
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 6 for food, 7 for service.
