Flying from: New York to Geneva
Class: Economy
Meal type: Breakfast
Comments: "A greasy small croissant, a stale cold roll,
a banana. The most awful cheap tasteless tiny packet of sugary strawberry jam.
A banana strawberry yoghurt. SWISS offer the worst continental breakfast of
any transatlantic airline in economy. Why can't they just offer a blueberry
muffin and a fruit salad; maybe warm the stale rolls and give some decent jam
like the good cherry and apricot jam Alitalia serve. The coffee though was good
but comes with cream. Can get milk but no skim milk, like on US airlines."

Flying from: New York to Geneva
Class: Economy
Meal type: Dinner
Comments: "Penne pasta with a meat sauce. Horrible. On
another flight they had no meat sauce. So they are now more generous. Bland
salad with 1/2 a tomato, stale cold roll, laughing cow cheap cheese and a tiny
but tasty apple cake the size of a matchbox. SWISS offer the most disgusting
food of any airline on transatlantic routes in economy."

Flying from: Geneva to New York
Class: Economy
Meal type: Spaghetti with a weird sauce. Plain green salad
and a small plum for desert.
Comments: "Food not fit for my dog nor for human consumption.
Spaghetti was greasy and tasteless. Salad was bland. Not even a tomato. Just
lettuce. They ran out of cake; a tiny cheesecake with rasberry base the size
of a matchbox. So I got a tiny baby plum instead. SWISS in economy offer the
most disgusting unedible food served by any transatlantic airline."

was edible. Beef (viandes des grisons), peppers in an olive roll. Macaroon cookie.
There was also a choice of a cheese sandwich but as usual they ran out."
