fruit appetizer (melon and watermelon)," roll and butter.
Drink: Coffee
Comments: "While filling and somewhat tasty, this snack
is sort of a muddle. I would prefer a nicely-prepared sandwich with some sort
of dessert."

Flying from: San Francisco SFO to Tokyo NRT, September 2002
Class: Business
Meal type: Lunch (Japanese Obento Selection) - "A main
course of steamed white fish with shiitake mushrooms, marinated chicken, stir-fried
burdock and steamed rice"
Drink: California Chardonnay and green tea; I was tempted by
the sake but it gives me a headache.
Comments: "Very good but not quite as good as the Obentos
I've had out of Narita/Osaka. The wrap around the rice seemed a little bit wilted
even though it's just a garnish."
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 8.5

even though it's not Japanese.
Drink: California Chardonnay
Comments: "Quite tasty as is usual for UA's Obento meals."
