I had on my tray : Fish terrine with 2 slices of fruit and beans, garden
salad with olive oil vinaigrette, Oriental Chicken with asian rice and
vegetables, chocolate cake, roll. The other choice was Beef with mashed
potatoes and vegetables
Drink: water
Comments: Still served by a very sour faced japanese
cabin attendant who seemed to be in a hurry to finish her service, the
food was really good and very filling, chicken was good.

Meal type: Lunch - Cobb Salad; turkey, bacon, cheese,
olives, tomatoes, hard boiled egg, muchrooms, croutons, and lettuce.
Drink: Chilean Aresti Merlot
Comments: Choices were the salad or the roast beef and
cheese deli plate. I have had the deli plate before so I opted for the
salad. The salad wasn't bad at all and the plate was icy cold [good for
a salad]. The entire tray had been refrigerated and the parmesian dressing
was rather thick due to chilling. I dealt with that though. The nice touch
was the warm cookie. On longer flights they serve the cookie later, but
one can only expect so much for a short flight. After all, coach had no
meal at all.
My only gripe wasn't with the meal, but with the tray table. It wasn't
level and 'crested' in the middle at the hinge. The meal tray kept rocking
left and right, severe enough that I was forced to move my wine glass
to the armrest.

Comments: Choice of chicken or pasta. Pasta was hot and

Comments: The beef was piping hot and very tasty. The
mashed potatoes were good; however, the vegetables were soggy and disgusting.
Salad was crisp and fresh. Cookies were ok, but I was disappointed to
find out they were our only dessert. Overall, a good meal.

eggs and cheese in a tortilla, fruit bowl with melon, pineapple and grapes,
"donut stick."
Drink: Coffee and water.
Comments: Points off for the lackluster presentation.
The burrito looked so lonely on the plate. Some salsa would have been
a good addition. It tasted OK, though, and the "donut stick"
was sweet and tasty.

Drink: Johnnie Walker Black and water.
Comments: Better than average; the roll was warm and
the dessert was served separately.

really even a snack, just a little something instead of the usual pretzel/nut
snack mix. This was part of UA's sponsorship of the Taste of Chicago.
A little card inside the package read "People love Eli's Cheesecake,
the #1 dessert at Taste of Chicago. To celebrate the 23rd anniversary
of Taste, Eli's and United are proud to treat you to delicious Eli's PickUps
Dessert Bar!"
Drink: Chardonnay. This was an ex-United Shuttle aircraft
so there were no glasses, just plastic cups
Comments: Kind of sweet with wine; would be great with
a cup of coffee. A nice change from the usual, though

Comments: The chicken was dry. Rice was soggy. Pineapple
and carrots do not go well together. Dinner salad was mostly iceberg lettuce.
The crackers and Oreo\'s were good.
