Flying from: Montevideo, Uruguay to Rio de Janeiro, 7
January 2003
Meal type: breakfast - cheese, lettuce and tomato sandwich
on a brown roll, fruit cup with oranges and melon, a raisin-topped sugar
cookie.
Drink: orange juice
Comments: starting my day with a bland cheese, wilted
lettuce and mushy tomato on a hard roll sandwich in a box is not my idea
of breakfast. a bit of mustard or mayo would have added some much-needed
flavor.

2003
Duration: 1h22
Aircraft type: Boeing 737-800 Winglets
Class: Business
Meal type: Breakfast
Drink: Orange Juice and Coffee
Comments: Overall acceptable though not stupendous. Cold
ham and cheese slices with a warm spinach turnover (quite good), assortment
of breads and croissants, yoghurt and a generous helping of fresh fruit.
The negative was the coffee which is some of the worst I have ever had
in the air and the orange juice (not in photo) which is obviously made
from powder.
Rating: 4 (coffee and OJ, an integral part of any breakfast,
bring it down)
