Pre-flght drink: water.
Dinner: Chinese treat: celery salad, sauted fish belly, fresh fruit cuts, main meal: rice, Sichuan-style sauted chicken, seasonal vegetables; desert: Chinese pie , roasted almond
Drink:
White wine, water
Comments:
Excellent presentation and service, chicken was awesome, fruit was fresh and crunchy. Prefer to have roasted almond served just after take-off with drink service instead of servng it together during in dinner tray.
Fresh fruit cuts, danish pastry with jam; main meal: fried egg with sausage and vegetables.
Drink:
Orange juice
Comments:
Breakfast was started with drink service, followed by main meal. The presentation was so-so, the portion was bit small. Another bread or croissant will make it better.
I quote the menu: “herbed roast beef with fennel chilli salad and sweet potato cream; deep fried chicken breast with parsley potatoes; chocolate avocado tart; oven-fresh bread selection”
Drink:
Sparkling water
Comments:
At first sight I thought it’s a typical Wiener Schnitzel but it was chicken breast instead of veal. Nevertheless, the meal tasted good – especially the first plate! My girlfriend said, that the dessert was one of the best she ever had!
I quote the menu: “prawns/grilled vegetables; lentil minced beef ragout with gratinated pea purée; baked apple tart with mascarpone cinnamon cream; oven-fresh bread selection”
Drink:
Sparkling water
Comments:
I appreciate that Austrian (and its caterer Do & Co) offers good and solid meals! The lentil ragout had a great taste; the cake was a bit too sweet. Overall a very good menu!
