Best Food for a Charter Flight.
Nice Service . 5 Times Drink- Service. Many Space for my legs!!
Fresh fruit bowl. Hot sandwich with turkey ham and melted cheese. Condiments (mustard and sliced jalapenos). Pistachio cookie.
Drink:
Tecate (Mexican) beer.
Comments:
To expect a regular lunch and be given a warmed sandwich instead was a disappointment, shared by many passengers in the full Business class cabin on this 5-hour flight.
Fresh fruit plate. Croissant, yoghurt and condiments.
Drink:
Orange juice, hot tea.
Comments:
Missing something substantial? Indeed the attendants forgot to warm and serve the omelette and sausages in time, and they managed to serve it to just one demanding passenger (not me) who was then finishing the meal as we were landing.
Mixed nuts and dried fruits. Salad with lettuce, cucumbers, black olives and cheese. Breast of chicken with potato mash and spinach. Selection of cheese accompanied with quince paste. Apple crumble.
Drink:
Mimosa cocktail. White wine. Sparkling water. Chamomile tea.
Comments:
A well-balanced and tasty menu, although offered by the attendants without the menu card and a bit hastily. The apple crumble had better be served warm.
Fresh fruit. Omelette with potato rösti. Roll of white bread, butter and peach jam.
Drink:
Hot black tea, sparkling water.
Comments:
Just fine for a morning flight. Though given its duration, the omelette and rösti size could be a bit bigger (and it would still fit the plate nicely :-)
Sandwich with cold meat cuts and vegetables. Happy Cow processed cheese and soda crackers. Crème caramel.
Drink:
Canada Dry Ginger Ale.
Comments:
What to serve on a flight departing at 01.55 a.m. and arriving 07.30 a.m.? Well, LAN chose this. It was the blandest sandwich I ever tasted. Good that I could sleep it off.
