Appetizer - Mojito shrimps with somen noodles.
Salad - mixed lettuce with red onion and a sprinkling of feta cheese served with Caesar dressing or olive oil with balsamic vinegar.
Main dish - Panko crusted chicken with roasted mini potatoes and vegetables or cheese ravioli in tomato cream sauce.
Dessert - Fruit cup, cheese plate or made to order ice cream sundae.
Pre-arrival snack - chocolate chip or cranberry with white chocolate cookie.
Drink:
Orange juice mixed with cranberry and water.
Comments:
I think AA should avoid serving a panko crusted item if it can't guarantee it to come out crispy as in a restaurant. Otherwise this was an adequate meal.
Lunch started with beverage with a package of hazelnuts, followed by a choice between Turkish style minced beef OR Grilled chicken cutlet. I chose the minced beef and it came with a green salad with mozzarella and marinated green beans. The main dish was accompanied by ratatouille and tomato bulgur. For dessert we had chocolate mousse. After the meal there were cheese sandwiches and cherry cakes in the galley. For snack we had an herbed grilled chicken with mushroom raviolis and sauteed spinach. The appetizer was a marinated artichoke in olive oil and dessert was an apple strudel with whipped cream.
Drink:
Sour cherry juice and water
Comments:
Turkish has one of the best catering in the world and in economy you get the most for your money. This airline takes the time to provide a printed menu, amenity kit and hot towel at the beginning of each meal to all passengers. In addition they distribute a bottle of water to each passenger at the end of the first meals service. Meals were generous in portion and delicious in taste. Hot bread is individually placed on each tray when meals are handed out. The second meal service which is a snack is actually a full meal on other carriers. Bravo TK!

Choices were Turkey breast OR Ham. I chose the Turkey and it served with a bowl of potato salad and a warm roll. Dessert was a selection between bread pudding with fruits OR apple cake.
Drink:
Strawberry and banana juice, and water.
Comments:
The turkey was fine and I was surprised that TA had a choice of two desserts after the meal service.
Just like LR 671, this flight was sold as LR and code shared with TA, but the actual plane was TA.
The snack consisted of some sort of salmon sushi with cream cheese, a mystery salad bound by mayo and some julienne veggies. There was also a cheesecake like dessert and a warm roll on the tray.
Drink:
Diet Coke and water
Comments:
Somehow this snack failed as an attempt at serving something with an international flair. Either you do it right or stick to something familiar and basic. The salad was indiscernible. To this day I did not know what type of meat was used (if any). A small sandwich would have been appreciated.
On a bright note, service provided by the purser was top notch. Very professional and accommodating
Technically this flight was operated as LR and code shared with TA, but the plane was a TA one.
The meal consisted of a mini quiche, a slice of processed cheese and turkey with fresh fruit and accompanied by a warm croissant like roll and muffin.
Drink:
Strawberry and banana juice, and water.
Comments:
Not bad at all for such a short flight. I noticed that there were no salt/pepper shakers or packets on the trays. Also, TA uses plastic tumblers for the drinks instead of glass.
Choices were French toast OR Frittata. I chose the French toast and they were served in a custard sauce with pieces of peach. The dish was accompanied by a bowl of fresh fruit, a warm roll and a cup of strawberry yogurt.
Drink:
Chamomile tea and water
Comments:
This flight left at 00:30 in the morning so most passengers went to sleep after take off. The only main meal was breakfast served about 1.5 hrs before arrival into SAL.
If you ordered something to drink during the night, the FA would bring nut a bowl of nuts to accompany your beverage.
Roasted chicken leg with vegetables and rice served with a warm roll, salad with beans and chocolate cake with whipped cream. A package of olive oil dressing with lemon was provided on the tray.
Drink:
Sour cherry juice
Comments:
The meal cost 24.98 TRY and it was good. Beverage of your choice was included with the price.
Welcome drink with canapes

Mediterranean salad with grilled artichokes and olive oil/lemon dressing.

Comments:
Excellent meal as expected from Turkish. The only downside is the plastic glassware.
