French white wine
Comment: Snack is not bad for a short economy flight. I love the dried
fruit kebabs often served on AF flights as well as the lemon tart (one
of my all-time favourite desserts in the air or on the ground). WA
On these City flights, always the same snack, pretty sad for
business class, although I do like the cheese sandwich. They do offer
champagne on the flight but you have to insist. FAs usually say they have
none, but when you ask them to go check, they always come back with a
large bottle of Monopole champagne. AF by Cityjet City flights are probably
the worst out there: poor service, uncomfortable seats (very crammed)
and bad food.

A satisfying meal. I particularly like the china TAM uses (I
almost wanted to take them with me). The shrimp was actually quite spicy
- but good. I liked the ice cream but it took a while for it to thaw so
that I could eat it. Very good and professional service from FAs and I
like the seats on the A320s.
Hot snack - Open-face grilled cheese and
ham sandwich, assorted vegetables with cottage cheese (?), crackers and
processed cheese, and Brazilian pudding (coconut with prune).
Drink:
Chilean white wine
Comments:
"Despite the looks the sandwich smelled and tasted
great! I could have done without that cottage cheese concoction but the
dessert (a typical Brazilian dessert) is one of my favourites! Impressed
the airline offers such quality meals for such short flights and in economy!"

Lunch - A nicely presented lunch
box with a cream cheese sandwich, a slice of ham with olive, grape and
Japanese rice crackers, processed cheese with crackers and sweet petit-fours.
Drink:
Chilean white wine
Comments:
"OK for such a short flight. Couldn't
figure out what was in the cream cheese sandwich."
Pleasant meal, but not one of the better ones. Chicken was very
tender. Not much of a selection on the menu. I am not a big fan of hazelnut,
but the torte was good.
I really liked this breakfast. Never had the chocolate crepes
with pears: VERY GOOD. The melon tasted really strange so didn't eat it.
I also like the yoghurt w/granola.
Champagne, French Languedoc red wine, water and espresso
Comments:
Salmon a nice change from usual foie gras. Selection of main
course limited to two options: shrimp was disappointing, too dry. Cheeses
were fine. Dessert (as usual with Air France) was delicious and I can
eat their basket of petit fours all day long. They have them available
at the stand up bar on board through the remainder of the flight. I also
like the real espresso they serve on board (even though FAs seem bothered
when you ask for it instead of the brewed coffee they are passing around).
