For lunch: smoked chicken breast, cherry tomatoes, and tabule salad.
For dinner: stewed beef with bulger & vegetables. Came with salad, white bread roll, and pound cake with baked-in candied fruit. Alas, the orange mousse was nowhere in evidence.

This is the first of my Aeroflot flights in which I was offered a menu. On my flights to Thailand, and the first flight I took from BKK to SVO, the policy was "you'll eat what we give you". On this flight, there were a couple choices of entrees. There was also wine offered. (My previous flight from Bangkok had a public address announcement that said that they had a new policy to refrain from serving alcohol on that flight.) According to the menu it was "chicken with rice and herbs, julienne with bell pepper" or "smoked chicken breast, cherry tomatoes, and table salad". On this flight, I was pleasantly surprised to see a menu and be given a couple of choices of entrees. My seatmate chose the stewed lamb with buckwheat and vegetables, which, I learned from her, was "Boranya" in Russian. A choice of red or white wine was given with lunch. I chose the white wine, which was surprisingly good.
