Air Asia X has just started its Kansai to Honolulu flight and the pre-book meals were pretty bad. It was expensive and the food was not really that good. The prebook selection was also underwhelming. The Japanese bento was not good at all. There is no seasoning and they should have soy sauce for the plain onigiri, as there were little side dishes. The menu should list the contents. The Breakfast frittata was average - at least edible and have some seasoning. Once again I don't mind paying! Charge more if you need that to cover your cost. We are flying LCCs so we know we have to pay to get good food.
