I wanted to try out air Baltic's food so I pre-ordered a meal, as they claim it's cheaper than buying on board. It actually isn't, and besides you can pick what you actually want. The description says it includes "juice", and it took multiple messages on facebook before the company confirmed that it's orange juice. The meal itself includes a sandwich and a Laima cereal bar (cherry-flavoured). You also get wet wipes (not antibacterial) If the price was more reasonable I'd rate it as 8.

Equipment: A bit too much packaging for such a small meal   //   Other: Buying a seat at the check-in desk also turned out to be cheaper than choosing it online! Also, tap water at Riga airport doesn't taste good (I'm sure it's perfectly safe). No free masks or sanitizers in late February 2020. Most passengers weren't wearing masks. The load was relatively small.
