Pre/post take-off drinks: Champagne and nuts.
FIRST MEAL SERVICE
Starter: smoked salmon with capers, onion and mixed herbs. Salad: baby leaf salad with cherry tomatoes and parmesan cheese served with balsamic vinaigrette. Bread roll and butter. Main course: rack of lamb in jus accompanied by roasted new potatoes, broccoli and mixed peppers. Another bread roll and butter. Selection of cheese: mild Cheddar, Brie and Wensleydale. Dessert: Apple pie.
Drinks: Champagne, mineral water, Argentinean Kaiken Malbec Reserve red wine, Dow’s Port, coffee and Bailey’s.
PRE-ARRIVAL LIGHT MEAL
Sandwich selection of cucumber with cream cheese, coronation chicken and tuna with mayonnaise. Scones with jam and clotted cream. Fresh orange segments.
Champagne, mineral water, Argentinean Kaiken Malbec Reserve red wine, Dow’s Port, coffee and Bailey’s.
The food was extremely delicious, hot and fresh - difficult to accomplish on any flight in any class, but they did it! Brilliantly presented with plenty of time between the four courses.
