Red wine: Medoc 2002 Chateau Something and water. Plus an aperitif of champagne.
OK. Basic airline meal — though compared to my seat mates’ dinners, my beef was missing the colorful orange Provençale-style. So the beef was pretty dry. The veggies were tasty. I made a sandwich out of the quite good baguette and smoked salmon. The President Camembert and butter were also good. I ate those with the second baguette that the flight attendants gave us. Since I am allergic to nuts, I didn’t try either the pesto pasta or the lemon tart because 30,000 feet up isn’t a good place for anaphylactic shock.
