Contents: Smoked salmon filets with fennel salad, shrimp with carrot-cumin
purée and white rice, selection of cheeses (camembert, goat and
bleu d'auvergne), fig tart with petit fours. (Menu Card)
Champagne, French Languedoc red wine, water and espresso
Salmon a nice change from usual foie gras. Selection of main course limited to two options: shrimp was disappointing, too dry. Cheeses were fine. Dessert (as usual with Air France) was delicious and I can eat their basket of petit fours all day long. They have them available at the stand up bar on board through the remainder of the flight. I also like the real espresso they serve on board (even though FAs seem bothered when you ask for it instead of the brewed coffee they are passing around).
