Lunch - Shrink wrapped hot dog bread roll, amul butter, yoghurt.
Indian salad consisting of green chillies, onions, tomato etc.. The entree
was mutton rogan josh (Kashmiri lamb curry), steam rice with raisins,
and spiced vegetables (cauliflower and peas masala). Desert was Rasogulla
(fried flour balls dipped in sugar syrup - a West Bengal delicacy). This
was followed by aftermint and tea/coffee.
Diet coke and water
Excellent entree (I had two curries). The mutton was soft and blended well with the rice. The spiced vegetables were tasty too. I wish they had given a paratha or roti with it. There was no popadum or cheese and crackers. I did not have the desert. Air India stresses on the entree and desert. There's not much else to eat and that is a pity. There was an Oriental option of fish. The vegetable option was a paneer (cottage cheese) dish.
