Instead of serving a hot meal, American Airlines decides to "enhance" the experience by offering an enhanced snack baskets with fresh sandwiches and fruits, in addition to the packaged snacks. Well the reception was poor, so they at least brought back the warmed mixed nuts, and the sandwiches look a bit better but still not good enough. I rate it below those sandwiches offered in British Airways intra-European flights in World Traveler.
