The flight was listed as a refreshment flight. Usually they offer a drink and a snack basket. So we were surprised to have a plated snack. They offered two options, one being a beef wrap the other a cheese and fruit plate. I went with the beef wrap which was very good. It also has some Edamame and herbs. A bag of chips and a chocolate was also on the tray. Pre-departure drinks of your choice, I chose red wine and a hot towel was offered. I am glad American Airlines put the snack option on this route again.
