Business Class
Lunch
Ramekin of warm nuts to start (not pictured), followed
by a mixed greens salad with tomatoes, mushrooms, artichoke heart pieces,
and kalamata olives. Entree choices were a beef filet with roasted potatoes
and broccoli with red pepper strips (pictured), or AA's well known Shrimp
and Risotto (not pictured, you can find it here on other submissions).
Dessert was an ice cream sundae of vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips,
topped with some brickle squares.
Water, Tomato Juice
OK. Pretty standard AA domestic, first class fare on this short, international "business class" route....there were 8 pax total in F class out of 16 available seats. VE's political instability has nosedived the fares to this country....good for travelers off the beaten path, and this was my first trip back to Caracas proper since 1986, when I lived there. You need to take some precautions now, but otherwise you can still have a very enjoyable time, and it's a great deal for dollar or euro holders!
