Amuse-Bourche - Smoked Chicken Crostini with romesco sauce. Soup - Caramaelized Onion and Leek with Parmesan. Salad - Seasonal greens with fresh vegetable, sweet and spicy pecans and blue cheese and creamy Asian-style dressing. Japanese winter meal Kobachi - marinted herring roe salad. spicy cod roe salad and nameko mushroom with yamakurage vegetables. Hassun - simmered prawn, baked whitefish with cheese, minced duck with steamed egg yolk cake, sweet simmered board bean and gold leaf, steamed taro potato with black sesame and lily bulb flower Dainomono - Braised Japanese beef with yuzu kosho pepper sause and grilled red snapper saikyoyaki style, daikon radish, awafu gluten cake, green beans and carrot flower served with seasoned rice and assorted pickles. Ice Cream Sundae - Vanilla ice cream with hot fudge, seasonal berry topping, whipped cream, and pecans. Mid flight snack of Fruit and Cheese Light meal prior to arrival - Chilled Cilantro Chicken with summer noodles, fresh green salad, and fresh fruit.

Jack and Water, and the Wine Flight Experiance

I had pre-ordered the Japanese meal as you can no longer a normal option from the menu. Was amazed at the quality and quantity of food. Was better than the regular menu items. Crew was GREAT and took real good care of all of the passengers. While certainly not the CX or JP First Class experience I think it is the best US Carrier First service for sure.
