Warm nuts followed by a salad of mixed greens, with
leeks and couscous. My entree choice was a very tasty beef filet in a
mushroom cream sauce with rice pilaf, asparagus and carrots. The other
choice was an eggplant ravioli dish, which I was told was pretty good
too. Dessert was an ice cream sundae with a rum-flavored syrup topping,
and coconut sprinkles. Coach meal was, I believe, an attempt at "carne
merchada" (shredded beef in a red pepper sauce) with rice and zuchinni.
I tasted it and it was not bad at all. The coach dessert was flan, with
an odd appearance and even odder texture....not so good.
Water, Tomato Juice.
Food quality and presentation was better than FLL-CCS. I asked FA what was served in coach, and as she had noticed me taking pictures of the food, she brought me a coach meal to photo. "Anything for an EXP," she said! Great crew and only three pax up front this time. Coach about 90% full.
