Meal service started with a ramekin of hot nuts, followed by a prosciutto appetizer, salad with mozzarella ballks, tomatoes and fresh basil with a choice of dressings, a selection of beef fillet with olive demi glace OR cheese tortellini with Romano sauce (made with mozzarella), and ending the meal with made to order sundae OR fruit/cheese plate. Right before arrival fresh baked onboard cookies were offered with milk.

Cranberry juice, water, red wine (Foris Oregon Pinot Gris) and milk

Very nice meal service. American offers perhaps the best domestic (US) first class service, especially on transcontinental flights.
