This continental breakfast was a standard for American: granola cereal, banana, fruit, cheese, and crackers, but rather than a croissant, we received two miniature cinnamon rolls.

Equipment: The flatware and china were standard for American. Considering the price of a first class ticket, American needs to add hot meals to all domestic flights over 2.5 hours. What made this flight impressive (I gave an 8/10 for the entire experience as the food was 6/10) was that we had an agitated passenger on the ground who opposed wearing a mask. Prior to take-off, the flight attendants asked this passenger to reapply his mask 3 times. During flight, I never heard a commotion or raised voices so the three flight attendants did an excellent job of keeping a potentially disruptive situation under control.
