Warm mixed nuts and roasted garlic edamame humus with sesame seeds and baked tortilla chips
Appetizer Tray:
Kobachi Dish - Herring roe rolled in kelp, sliced matsutake mushrooms and mizuma leaves served with bonito stock sause
Hassun Dish - Broiled prawn Yuan-style with yuzu citrus flavor, fried ginkgo nuts with salt on skewer, simmered lily bulb with plum puree, minced chicken and poppy seed cake and candied chestnuts
Western Dish - Smoked salmon served with sansho pepper mayonnaise, accompanied by sliced red onion, carrot julienne, radish and cucumber
Main Tray
Simmer Dish - Sweet potato, carrot, shimeji mushroom and boiled yellow chrysanthemum in a radish cup
Entree - Simmered turbot served with sweet ginger and soy sauce accompanied by boiled spinish, taro potato, carrot and millet gluten cake
Soup - Miso soup with tofu and wakame seaweed.
Steamed rice and assorted seasonal pickles.

Pre-selected the Japanese Autumn Meal which was far and above any of the western choices. Would highly recommend doing that. You need to do this prior to travel, either on line or over the phone, since they no longer carry it on board. Service was very good from a senior crew and is very comparable with most Asian carriers business class meal service. The Flagship Suites are much better however so that was why I went with AA. Overall a excellent experience.
