Dinner , Special meal: no
It is clear that catering ex-Japan is superior to catering ex-USA or other stations. The Japanese meal, while suffered some cutback, was still the better option out of this "business class like" menu. There was a mid-flight snack, which was a choice of soba or smoked salmon sandwich. The soba was nice. Pre-arrival breakfast was a choice of frittata or museli. The egg dish was very good.

Champagne

Japanese meal suffered some cutbacks but still better than AA's average first class meal.
